I rent out the places I actually stay in — a renovated Japanese house, two classic sailboats on their berths, a Black Sea studio. Each one lists what it is, who it suits, and wherever it is booked. No booking engine and no accounts.

An abandoned Japanese house brought back into use as a guesthouse, central to the whole of Kansai. Traditional tatami rooms, shoji screens, and a maker space in what used to be a back room.
Suits: Long-stay visitors who want a whole Japanese house rather than a hotel room, and who intend to range across Kansai rather than stay in one city.

A house in Italy offered as a package rather than a room on its own — the stay comes with an accompanying arrangement.

OperatingPort Hercule
A classic 1971 sailboat on an annual berth in Port Hercule, in the middle of Monaco's harbour. Mahogany below decks and the whole harbour outside. It stays on its berth — a place to sleep, not a charter.
Suits: Anyone who would rather wake up in the harbour than pay Monaco hotel rates to look at it.

A 28ft classic sailboat in Marina di Varazze, let as a floating apartment. Two cabins and a bathroom aboard, the Ligurian coast out of the companionway. It stays on its berth.
Suits: Couples who want the Italian Riviera without an Italian Riviera hotel bill, and who quite like the idea of sleeping on the water.
